Upgrading Vaulting to 2.6
Upgrading to 2.6
If you are already running offsite vaulting in a version earlier than 2.6, you will not be able to move your existing vault data with you. If you wish to retain your existing vaults, you should keep your the old Offsite Module installed and preserve its existing data should you need to restore. Feel free to shut down its services, since you will not need to connect to its IP and port going forward.
Once you set up a new ODS location, your existing vault jobs will run as usual. Of course, the first time a vault is run, you will be sending a large amount of data, so be prepared for this to take significantly longer than your vaults before upgrade.
