With the release of Alike 4.0, Alike Free retires from Quadric Software’s current product line. As a token of our appreciation for our Alike Free users, we’re offering a limited time only discount. If you started using Alike Free before April 1st, 2015, you can upgrade to a full license of Alike Standard at a significant discount, if you purchase before December 31st, 2015. Farewell to an Old Friend

Alike Free was an important member of the Quadric Software family for many years. We wish to thank everyone—from around the world—who trusted its ability to protect their data, and shared its reliability with their peers. Your support and enthusiasm for Alike Free meant so much to us as a company. Your feedback was also an integral part of improving our software over the years, and we welcome any comments or questions as we release the newest version of Alike.

Alike 4.0: The Next Generation

While we are sad to see Alike Free move on, we are very excited to announce the upcoming launch of Alike 4.0. Here just a few of the new and improved features of 4.0:

Important Changes

Customers who are currently under active maintenance contracts using v3.5 of Alike Standard or Alike DR will be eligible to upgrade their licenses to 4.0, once it is released. However, please note that there will be no upgrade path from v3.5, so your system will require a clean install. We will publish more specific instructions on transferring your current licenses in our Knowledge Base. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time with questions about this process. Be sure to stay tuned for our release notes and other news about Alike 4.0, which is scheduled to be released later this month.
