Transition of Operations
Due to an unforeseen circumstances, Quadric Software will be ceasing operation December 31st, 2024. This decision was not made lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.
Continued Support and Transition Plan
To ensure a smooth transition as we wrap up operations, we will remain available until operations have closed. In an effort to ease the impact of this change, we are implementing the following measures:
- Free Access: Effective immediately, all A3 subscription limits and A2 licensing for existing customers will be lifted. Our software solution will now be available to you indefinitely at no further cost.
Furthermore, all ties to the Quadric web services will be eliminated, allowing you to continue using the solution in perpetuity. To accomplish this, we have prepared a new software release for you, which is required.
Please upgrade your A3 to build “LTR” (via the docker-compose file) as soon as possible. This KB article will provide the necessary upgrade steps. - Open Source Future: To carry the torch forward, we are proud to announce Alike’s debut on GitHub, allowing the community to use, modify, and enhance the software freely.
- XenOrchestra Offer: Vates is generously offering full access to their Pro Support free for 6-months for existing Alike users to provide a smooth transition of their XCP-ng and XenServer protection.
